Senior Software Engineer

I am a Software Engineer and Lead Instructor at Palermo University with over a decade of experience designing, scaling, and operating production systems. My career has evolved from building complex microservices in C# and Python to architecting the cloud-native foundations that support them.

What I bring to the table:

  • Hands-on Reliability: I’ve spent the last 4 years at high-growth companies like Eventbrite and PedidosYa, focusing on Kubernetes orchestration, Terraform-managed infrastructure (IaC), and resilient Python-based backends.
  • The “Instructor” Edge: Teaching DevOps forces me to strip away the hype and articulate the underlying principles of every tool. This discipline makes my engineering work more deliberate and my documentation exceptionally clear.
  • End-to-End Ownership: Whether it’s Ansible for configuration management or optimizing CI/CD pipelines, I prioritize observability, long-term maintainability, and “Platform Thinking.”
